Zinnia 'Giant Dahlia Mix' - 10 seedlings - There’s nothing nicer than the jumble of colours of these zinnia flowers in a jug on the kitchen table. The flowers are spectacular, huge and long-lasting.
Zinnia elegans are one of my very favourite
families for cutting, with a long picking season and excellent vase life. The single colours mix well in the border too.

Sowing:
Sow Under cover in individual cells in April - early May (Zinnias dislike root disturbance) or direct sow in June . Do not over water.
Site:
Full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.

Plant 30cm apart.

Hardiness:
Half-hardy
Care tips:
It has a tendency to botrytis (a reason to think of using Bordeaux mixture or Sulphur). Do not overwater.

For the vase:
Strip bottom leaves. Will last up to 2 weeks in water.
