Primula 'Don Keefe' - This form, loved by Gertrude Jeckyll, is a
wonderful large-flowered variety in a pillar-box red, ideal for picking.It’s the texture of these flowers, as well as the colours which make these such exceptional spring-flowering plants. You can grow them in pots – as a collection – in the middle of your table, or plant them in the garden and pick the odd flower from there. They love a bit of light
shade. Sear the stem ends in boiling water to make them last over a week in the vase.
